Yes — you can join as a Guest Towner (passenger) with your own profile if you receive an invitation link from an already verified Towner. Because Guest Towners are directly vouched for within a trusted resident's network, they can get started using basic details without standard residency document checks. However, Wizers (drivers) must be verified BTK residents, with no exceptions, since they form the safety-critical layer of the platform.
The biggest difference is verified identity. On most of the other ride apps and platforms, background checks are only run on the account holders—meaning the actual person driving you could be an unverified stranger hired to run the car. On Townwize, every Wizer is a verified BTK resident — a neighbour, not a stranger. Additionally, Townwize uses a transparent and nominal commission model instead of 20–25% commission cuts, so drivers earn significantly more per ride and fares stay lower for passengers.
Our fully automated system requires 6 items: (1) BTK ID or proof of residence, (2) A utility bill at the BTK address, (3) A valid CNIC, (4) An active driving license, (5) Vehicle registration documents, and (6) A live selfie. Conversely, already verified Towners can invite their guests and visitors to join the app using just basic details without document checks, as our system maps their authenticity directly to the inviting Towner's profile.
